Important Points about Dues:

  • Dues should be turned into the SCAVMA lockbox (far right of student mailboxes). The 2008 deadline is Friday, Sept. 26th at 5:00p.
  • All checks should be made out to "SCAVMA" and have your correct name on the check. Please indicate what the check is for (e.g. Scavma dues or Scavma dues + JAVMA journal).
  • For 2008, join MVMA and save $$! A check in the amount of $140 should made out to SCAVMA and placed in the SCAVMA lockbox. The check for MVMA dues ($45) needs to be mailed with your application for to the MVMA office.
  • The cheapest and easiest way to join SCAVMA is to pay dues for all 4-years as a first-year during the membership sign-up period.
  • If you are paying yearly, you do need to pay dues ($65) each year you want to be a SCAVMA member, including your fourth year.
  • If you are in an extended program, you do not need to pay "extra dues." If you have questions about this, please contact Ryan Carpenter at scavmamemberchair@cvm.msu.edu
  • There has been a change in our dues structure, effective for class of 2012. For more information, consult the constitution excert below.
